What Christmas Means

A baby born
animals around
a stable worn
as angels look down
Christmas does not mean
presents under a tree
but the birth of a gift
God gave to me.

CHRISTMAS IS A TIME TO CELEBRATE

Christmas is a time to celebrate.
A time to celebrate Jesus's birth.
We come into his house with praise,
and ThanksGiving in our hearts.

Long, Long Ago

Winds through the olive trees
Softly did blow,
Round little Bethlehem
Long, long ago.
Sheep on the hillside lay
Whiter than snow
Shepherds were watching them,
Long, long ago.
Then from the happy sky,
Angels bent low,
Singing their songs of joy,
Long, long ago.
For in a manger bed,
Cradled we know,
Christ came to Bethlehem,
Long, long ago.

BETHLEHEM OF JUDEA

A little child,
A shining star.
A stable rude,
The door ajar.

Yet in that place,
So crude, forlorn,
The Hope of all
The world was born.

Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas, Merry Christmas
Jesus was born today.
Merry Christmas, Merry Christmas
in a bed of hay.
Merry Christmas, Merry Christmas
He came to forgive our sins.
Merry Christmas, Merry Christmas
so we could be born again.
Merry Christmas, Merry Christmas
He died on Good Friday.
Merry Christmas, Merry Christmas
then He arose again on the third day.
Merry Christmas, Merry Christmas
after forty days he went away.
Merry Christmas Merry Christmas
but he'll come again someday.
